For BuyersIf you are looking for a home to buy, whether you are a first time home buyer or a savvy investor, I provide the same level of excellent service. First I interview you to find out what you are looking for, then I follow up with personalized e-mails from our MLS System which match your criteria. When you find a home or homes you like from my e-mails , I then make appointments to view them and when we find the perfect home, we make the offer and if necessary, I negotiate the terms of the offer with the listing agent.
In the meantime, you, the buyer, have been to your loan officer and have made application for a mortgage loan so you can buy the house. Once approved and all other parts of the transaction have been worked out, you can usually be in your home with in 4-6 weeks after you first decided this was the home you’d been looking for. My job is to make buying your home as easy and pain-free as possible. By the way, I am an Accredited Buyers Representative.

For Sellers
In a listing interview, I always ask the Seller a lot of questions, so that I can fully understand what his expectations are of me, as his Listing Agent. I want to know everything I can about the house, what price they expect, how quickly they want to close, how many repairs they are willing to make prior to going on the market…all the things that will make selling their home easier and stress-free. After we have agreed on a price and market date, my work just begins. There are newspaper ads to write and place, photos and measurements to take, sales brochures to produce, open houses to plan and advertise, signs to place in the yard and neighborhood. If we have priced the home correctly and I have marketed it correctly, we should soon have an acceptable contract.

After our offer is accepted, I make an appointment with a home inspector, usually within 10 or 15 days of contract acceptance. After the home inspection we may ask for certain repairs and I negotiate those with the listing agent. Once that negotiation is complete, we move to closing.
Once you decide you want to sell your home, the next step is to find an agent with whom you feel comfortable and one who has the marketing and sales skills necessary to produce the results you are looking for.
